Deputy at Martyrs Foundation Condoles condoles passing of Hassan Nasralla's father
Dr. Yaqub Soleimani, Deputy for Cultural and Educational Affairs of the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation, issued a message of condolence following the passing of Sayyed Abdul Karim Nasrallah, the father of martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, former Secretary General of Hezbollah.
“Among the believers are men who were true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their vow [by death], and some are still waiting; and they have never changed [their commitment] in the least.” (Qur’an, Surah Al‑Ahzab 33:23)
The passing of the esteemed father of a martyr, the late and forgiven Sayyid Abdul Karim Nasrallah, father of the great mujahid and standard-bearer of the Resistance, the martyred Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (may God be pleased with him), has caused profound sorrow and deep grief.
Undoubtedly, the loss of such a noble father is not merely the loss of an individual; rather, it is a farewell to a faithful, patient, ascetic, and mujahid‑nurturing man who devoted the fruits of his blessed life to raising a son whom he offered to Islam and the Islamic Ummah—one of whom the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow be extended) stated:
“Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was not merely a person; he was a path and a school of thought.”
The upbringing of such an exceptional personality in the arenas of faith, jihad, prudence, and leadership stands as clear testimony to the spiritual greatness, religious insight, and sincere paternal devotion of that blessed deceased; a father who, through patience, faith, and divine upbringing, raised within his care a son who became the standard-bearer of the Islamic Resistance and a source of hope for the oppressed of the region.
There is no doubt that the path and school of the Master of the Resistance will not come to a halt with his martyrdom; rather, this continuity is indebted to the pure roots that were formed within a faithful household and under the guidance of a righteous father.
The Cultural and Educational Affairs Department of the Martyrs and Veterans Affairs Foundation of the Islamic Republic of Iran extends its heartfelt condolences to the honorable and patient Nasrallah family, to the steadfast mujahideen, fighters, and devoted supporters of the Islamic Resistance Front, and to the noble and dignified people of Lebanon. We beseech Almighty God to grant the blessed deceased abundant mercy and exalted ranks, and to his survivors beautiful patience and great reward.
